brüst protein coffee (mocha)

There were on sale at Costco for $31.99 (regular $39.99), so I picked up a case.

A protein shake with espresso sounded promising, but it fell short of my expectations.

Despite a great macro ratio (20p:5c:0.5f), the low-fat content meant the drink is thin and watery. The coffee + whey flavor combo is okay, but the whey tastes chalky and cheap, especially vs. Gold Standard 100% Whey.

Sweetened with stevia, it has a distinct aftertaste that some might find off-putting. While chilling improves the taste slightly, it’s still not enough for me to recommend.

You are better off with Alani.

EBGB Rating: 4/10

To keep the carbs low, it uses stevia as the sweetener. But those who are familiar with diet products will know that stevia can leave a very distinct aftertaste that does not appeal to most.
