Prana Peas & Favas Protein Mix

When it comes to any type of trail mix or nuts mix, my opinions are always mixed πŸ˜‰. Not because I don’t think they taste good or that they aren’t nutritious, but rather there are always some part of the mix I end up not enjoying.

For this, it’s the edamames and green peas. I’m usually a fan of them when they are part of my meals. They are an excellent source of protein and fibre. But when eaten as part of a snack mix, they are almost always too dry.

The fava beans are the stars of this mix. They are tasty, has a bit of a sweetness to them which is a nice balance to the spiciness and really enhances the overall flavour profile. The almonds are, well, almonds.

The ingredients are clean, and the macros are par for the course. Overall a good option to add to your snacks rotation and a better-for-you alternative to many salty snacks out there.
