Todd’s Egg-cellent Protein Puffs (White Cheddar)

These were not good.

Look, I eat a lot of eggs. Most mornings I make an omelette with one egg and six egg whites, so I’m used to “the egg smell”.

This is not that.

Maybe it’s the dried egg white, or the cheddar, or both, but the “rotten egg” smell is very pungent. So strong that it overpowers the taste - a profile similar to Harvest Snaps, which makes sense given the lentil protein. While the puffs themselves are crunchy, they are incredibly dry. Coupled with the strong smell, I can only describe the product as “off-puttingly singular and without depth.”

Next time I’ll just eat a hard boiled egg.
